Early on the morning of February 3, 102 people, including members of the Polen Ecology Collective, were detained in raids on homes and institutions in 22 cities. On February 5, 77 of them were arrested at their court hearing.
This is a comprehensive crackdown by the Turkish state against socialists, the militant dockworkers’ union, women’s and youth organizations, political culture and arts institutions, publishing workers, human rights defenders, and ecologists.
While companies, backed by fascist states around the world, poison the air, water, and soil and act as they please without complying with any laws; while NATO forces, destroying the peoples and life all around the world, prepare for a summit to plan new wars in Turkey; and as the government heads into the COP31 summit with plans to deprive the people through new oil, mining, and plunder projects under the guise of zero waste, green transition, etc.; We receive the message what this attack means to the organized sections of the people from all over the world. We declare once again that we will respond by defending labor, nature, and life more strongly on an international scale.
We call on everyone to fill the ranks of our arrested comrades in the struggle and to walk this path of resistance together.
Spring will come again, and the pollen will continue to spread in the streets and squares, propagating the spirit of resistance!

Yağmur, Cemre, Cemil ve Pınar’a Özgürlük! Türkiye’deki Sosyalist Ekolojistlerin Yanındayız!
3 Şubat sabahı erken saatlerde 22 kentte gerçekleşen ev ve kurum baskınlarıyla aralarında Polen Ekoloji Kolektifi üyelerinin de olduğu 102 kişi gözaltına alındı ve 5 Şubat’ta çıkarıldıkları mahkemede 77’si tutuklandı.
Bu, sosyalistlere, mücadeleci liman işçileri sendikasına, kadın ve gençlik örgütlerine, politik kültür-sanat kurumlarına, yayınevi emekçilerine, insan hakları savunucularına ve ekolojistlere yönelik Türk devletinin çok kapsamlı bir sindirme saldırısı.
Tüm dünyada faşistleşen devletleri arkalarına alan şirketler havayı, suyu, toprağı zehirlerken ve hiçbir yasaya uymadan istedikleri gibi hareket ederken; dünya halklarını ve yaşamı yok eden NATO güçleri Türkiye’de yeni savaşlar için bir zirveye hazırlanırken; iktidar yıl sonunda COP31 ev sahipiliğine yeni petrol, maden, yağma projeleriyle halkı yoksunlaştırma planlarıyla giderken; halkın örgütlü kesimlerine verilen bu mesajı tüm dünyadan alıyoruz. Yanıtımızı da emeği, doğayı, yaşamı enternasyonal çapta daha güçlü savunarak vereceğimizi bir kez daha duyuruyoruz.
Herkesi dostlarımızdan boşalan mücadele yerlerini doldurmaya, bu mücadele birlikte yol yürümeye çağırıyoruz.
